Carrum Corten Project

Another amazing result!!! domestic façade cladding has done it again – Recently completing this amazing architectural masterpiece, right on the waters edge in Carrum.

This Carrum project was an exciting challenge for our team. Who were st to tackle the amazing feature radius wall to the front entrance. As well as an assortment of obscure angles. All of this added to the joy of a another great finish.

For this facade, we used 0.8mm Corten steel standing-seam. This panel works great with all radius wall, the finish works well also in the coastal environments. The vertical panels extend the clean, modern lines of the home and are specially designed to be lightweight and low-maintenance, with no painting required.

Corten steel continues to be a popular choice for exterior cladding, as it forms its own protective patina when exposed to weather, resulting in a gorgeously coloured, corrosion-resistant outer layer. With this home located right on the beach in Carrum the façade cladding will start out a red-brown colour and deepen over time in the coastal conditions.
